Five of 4,419 primary students tested positive, as well as 14 of 4,860 secondary students and five of 1,149 staff members.

The latest statistics, provided as of Saturday, November 20, are recorded on the OPS online web portal, updated weekly.

Likewise, Collinsville Public Schools recorded 13 positive COVID-positive cases in isolation out of a total of 3,315 students and staff as of Saturday, according to its online web portal.

The Owasso Reporter previously released local statistics on coronavirus cases, but the Oklahoma State Department of Health on Wednesday, November 10 cut city and zip code data from the public.

The move was made despite previous promises by the governor and state health officials to be transparent with COVID data so that Oklaho residents can make informed personal choices.
